Vibrational Change: We can All Afford It

Sumi speaks about bringing people back to natural environments through sound, essentially balancing our chakras and raising our frequencies simultaneously using instruments she’s picked up during her world travels.

I got a re-introduction to and old friend and #SoundHealing with Sumitra Daswani of Born from the Earth. Join me as I learn more at the gathering tomorrow (Tuesday, June 18) from 7-8:30 pm at Breathe for Nad Yoga (Sound Meditation), a deep listening meditation and sonic cleansing.

We first met in the 4th grade where we were in the same class at the All Saints School on St. Thomas. That time was short lived as I left the school before the end of the school year. Who would’ve known twenty-shhh years later that we would reconnect through one of my not-so-secret loves, sound healing.

From her website, we learned that Sumi was, “raised in the Caribbean (right here on St. Thomas) by Indian parents. Sumitra Daswani grew up climbing mango trees, picking curry leaves and learning to cook traditional Indian dishes.
