Between seventy-five to one hundred people marched, chanted and celebrated in the streets of Savan and Charlotte Amalie during the 11th annual Dollar fo’ Dollar Culture and History tour, according to founders, Ayesha Morris, Jahweh David and DaraMonifah Cooper on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

Sankofa Saturdays did live Instagram posting and aired the tour live on WUVI AM 1090/FM 97.3, streaming live on www.wuvi.am so those who couldn’t make it would still have an opportunity to experience the music and history shared by a combination of local culture bearers.
