To commemorate this year’s #Fortsberg1733 history event only a small delegation organized to go, so the event was not the usual community wide invitation due to Covid-19 concerns. Those who elect to attend took their own vehicles and followed Covid-19 protocols remaining with their own party along the way.

In accordance with Virgin Islands law (ACT NO. 6285) The 1733 St. John African Revolution Commemorative Committee will host its 37th annual commemoration of the historic 1733 St. John African Revolution on Friday, November 26, 2021. Largely because of Coronavirus protocols, only a small delegation will participate in the actual educational pilgrimage/tour this year. While some of the activities will be streamed live on the Conch Shell Media Facebook page, a filmed condensed version of the pilgrimage will be shown online in February. The link for accessing it will be provided prior to its showing. For additional info call 340 998 1792. In November 2022 we will resume the regular educational pilgrimage in which members of the general public and students, in particular, are always welcomed to participate.
2021’s Fortsberg1733 activity on St. John was live streamed on my Facebook profile and shared on the Conch Shell Media Facebook page, the Fortsberg 1733 page and Sankofa Saturday’s, Inc. page whenever and wherever the conditions were right for it to be possible including internet access, sound and lighting.
