Here’s some more of what they had to say after the show was all said and done:

UVI student, Khalarni Rivers and Nyaila Callwood put on a 15 minute production of their own to start the evening off. Listen to the feedback from this powerful student production that opened for the show.

Parents responsibility: educate, protect & support the healing of our children and let’s focus on the realities in our community so we can help to FIX IT!

Why we don’t SPEAK OUT! 1 reason anyway…

Let’s get this youth message OUT to our schools!

So here’s what I said AFTER the show! DO SOMETHING & help support the young people that can make a difference!

From thought placed behind the collaborations to the hitting the ground running type of heartfelt work put into the productions, this week’s activities are just another beautiful example of what happens when Virgin Islanders use their God given strength, creativity and talents for the benefit of the community.

“Many stayed for The Encore – Meet the Actors, which involved raw, honest & hopeful conversation (led by Khnuma Simmonds Esannasonof VIDVSAC) regarding domestic violence, sexual assualt and an overwhelming show of support for our youth. Definitely a show and a converation you don’t want to miss…St. CROIX, are you ready? You’re next!

#VIDVSAC #URBANDER #SOSbyUrbander #WUVIRadio”

~Xaulanda Simmonds, URBANDER

Collaborating organizations included SOS by URBANDER with Xaulanda Simmonds, VI DVSAC with Khnuma Simmonds-Esannason, the University of the Virgin Islands Counseling and Placement Services with Mrs. Dahlia Stridiron Felix and the UVI College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) under the chair, Dr. Sharon Honore. As usual, there were many many more and probably some that may never be mentioned publicly. Knowing this is who our people are, we thank them for the selflessness and honor their contributions to making the USVI and the world we influence, a better place… one intention at a time.

The UVI C.L.A.S.S. co-sponsored the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault event with Fee King; providing the venues on both campuses. The following are pictures taken at the DVSA Workshops, Great Hall, St. Croix campus of the University of the Virgin Islands on 10/3/18.
